Do you hate the hassle of doing your hair before work every morning? Whether you’re commuting to work in person or zooming in to see coworkers, we always want a hairstyle that will help us look our best. There are a few different ways to quickly do your hair and look put together, even if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Read along for several quick and simple hairstyles you can reference when you do your hair in the morning.

Clip It Back

Hair clips are trending, so find a few that suit your personal style, because you are never going to believe how a clip can add simple elegance to your hair. Whether you decide you want to do a half up half down look or a complete updo, all you need is a clip. First, start off with the half up half down just grab the front pieces of your hair and clip them back. To keep hair out of the way and off of your neck, try doing an updo. Just take your hair, twist it, and push it against your scalp. Then grab the clip and clip it from the back. If you have short hair, it will just clip up and if you have long hair, it will probably flip over the top of the clip. Either way, you can achieve a trendy, cute look in no time at all.

Tie It Up

Only have a hair tie? No problem! Even with just a hair tie, you can throw your hair back and it’s out of your face for the day. To elevate the look, leave a piece out, wrap it around the hair tie so you can’t see it, and then when it’s short enough just stick it in so you can’t see the hair tie. That’s not all, you can also put your hair in a neat bun. Just tie your hair back, twist the ponytail and twist it around the ponytail. Want an even fancier look? Braid the ponytail instead and then twist it around to create a braided bun look.

Braid Your Hair the Night Before

If you are someone who showers at night, this is a great option for you. Just braid your hair right after you get out and leave the braids in until the next morning. This creates tidy beach waves that maintain their shape throughout the day. It’s a great way to get waves and curls without using heat to curl your hair. It’s the perfect way to walk out the door and look like you spent extra time doing your hair. To help the waves stay smooth throughout the day, try out our thickening and texturizing mousse to give your hair some extra hold and texture.

Braided Headband

Just grab a piece of hair from between the ear and the nape of the neck and braid it. Pull the braid over your head, or just braid from the top to underneath. Either way, it is a simple way of giving the illusion that you have a braided headband. In addition to that, it’s also a perfect way to look like you spent hours on your hair when it really only took a couple of minutes.

Two Tiny Pigtails

You can either just pull the front of your hair back and then tie it off to make tiny pigtails or you can spice it up and braid the pieces back. Either way, your hair is somewhat styled and out of your face, allowing you to conquer the day.

Low Bun

We mentioned just quickly tying your hair up, but there is always the low bun option, too. It’s super quick and easy to do, but it also has a very elegant look to it. All you have to do is grab your hair and just pull it halfway through the hair tie and then secure it with another loop to make it stay. Another option you can try is twist it how you would a top bun to give it a little bit more interest and tightness. This look can give you an understated elegance if the hair is free of frizz and neatly pulled back. Try out a center part if you usually opt for the side part to add another dimension of class to this hairstyle.

Simple Braid

The last simple hairstyle to do is to either bring all your hair to one side and wear a side braid, or just braid your hair straight back. If you want to spice it up or are more advanced, you could also do French or Dutch braids. These braids can also be worn as pigtails or as just one braid straight down.

No matter what way you decide to style your hair for work, no one will ever know how you created your hairdo in a snap. Hey, you can even try mixing and matching some of the looks: throw some braids in with your half up half down look!
