No Heat Air Drying Techniques for Every Hair TypeDrying and styling your hair can be a pain, especially if you shower every day. While it is not advised to wash your hair every day, sometimes you have to if you are frequently at the gym, work outdoors, or have very oily hair. Even if you don’t wash your hair every day, have you ever wished you could let your hair dry naturally and it look decent?

You can! There are tons of different ways to let your hair air dry naturally. Letting your hair air dry can help avoid damage from heat which can happen when you use your beloved hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron too often. If your hair looks a bit crazy when you let it dry naturally, all you need are some products and tips to make it look its best and save you some time and energy.

For naturally curly-haired women

If your hair is curly and tends to be dry, use a curl-defining cream when your hair is damp. If you want your curls to be more defined, scrunch them up or twist them to play with the curls.

If your curls need a bit of volume, let dry and then flip your hair over your head and spray some volumizing spray. Try our Keranique Lift & Repair Treatment Spray.

For naturally stick straight-haired women

If your hair dries naturally straight, you are likely the envy of many women. However, you might want to have a little bit of wave and texture in your hair! Tuck your hair behind your ears and clip it there as it dries. This will create a wave that will frame your face and look gorgeous.

If you have very thick, straight hair and want some waves, try putting your hair in buns before bed. Depending on how much hair you have, throw your hair into several buns to ensure that the waves are even. One big bun could create a strange wavy look.

For naturally wavy-haired women

If you have wavy hair, you might also be used to frizz. To avoid frizz, use an anti-frizz serum or hydrating mousse on damp hair. Then pull your hair in a loose braid for even waves. If you need more volume, clip the braid into a bun.

If you prefer less volume and more waves, pull your hair into two braids.

If your hair is naturally wavy but very fine, wash it and let dry wrapped up in a towel to soak up the extra water. Then just let it dry. Don’t brush or mess with it and let it dry naturally wavy.

To create a shape in your hair, use bobby pins to pin them to your head in a certain style. This can create curls, zig zag waves, and more. It is a very old-fashioned way of styling your hair, but it works!
